Yes, that’s what I heard too (I was not awake to actually see it myself- there’s low oxygen at that hour). Hope they reached their destinations in good order.
We were disappointed that we didn’t get a longer visit also but relieved that they made it safely! We look forward to seeing K once in awhile, when she can work us in. I offered free food but there is the onion factor which is a problem. 😉
The mountain was NOT FUN. But we both made it to our respective destinations safely. And did we tell you supper was amazing? Supper (and in particular that pie) was delicious! Grazi! (And almost but not quite as amazing was the 11.5 hours of sleep that night. 3:30 is not a human hour of the morning.)
I’ve done 3:30 twice this week. Although I am reluctant to recommend it as a habit because of the low oxygen levels, it can be done … as long as no perky happy people are around until at least 6:30.
Watch out that that baby of yours gets enough oxygen! I would think 3:30 would be depriving it of important nutrients. From a personal stand point, I don’t know how you do it. I had so much trouble getting up at 6 when pregnant. I was exhausted! Especially at the end. You, though, are MUCH younger than I was. Hope things are going well.
Glad you liked the Crack. I think it’s a keeper. Besides the name is just fun.
Having heard rave reviews from certain very reliable sources, I’m heading out right now to buy ingredients. I’m hoping crack will counteract the effects of rising before there’s sufficient oxygen in the air to sustain life. I, too, do that (unwillingly and) fairly frequently, so if I were to discover some kind of magic restorative elixir, I’d keep it on hand at all times … I’m pretty sure ANYTHING with cream cheese in it is fairly close to magic, so I should be halfway restored just by making crack, right?
It had better be good. It’s my plan for supper. 8×8 pan though since we (barely) are only two.
I hear my sisters got on the road in good order this morning. I’m sorry your/their visit was so shortened!

Also, the crack was good, and even turned out to be good leftovers (for some in this household, a major coup).

Ok – now that is just a hysterical name for a dish. May have to try some of that. 😉
