I had not thought of this angle, but yes! We have many mature trees, mostly maples and locusts, and a baby cottonwood. The latter will be very nice for climbing.
Also the NRD gave us a tree because we have a newborn! It is, um, three inches tall. Also it is an Austrian pine, perhaps less than conducive for climbing. But such gorgeous black-green needles.
Aw, man, I want to be eight. Also professional. (Or at least I want eight-year-old joints.)

Your Sister chased him up one of them when she visited. You’d be welcome to do so also. 😉
You have trees for your boy? If you plant some fast growing ones now they may be ready for him.
