Bathroom Humor (5 Comments)
I could hear the riotous laughing and giggling as I came down the hall.
Don’t those girls know they are supposed to be getting ready for bed?!?!? What are they doing?
I stalked in to the bathroom, put my hands on my hips…. and then I heard what they were saying.
“P**p!”
Laughter.
“Panties!”
Shrieks of laughter.
Girls! You know we don’t talk like that!
“But Mrs. L said that it’s potty talk and that if we are talking like this we need to go to the bathroom and we’re in the bathroom.”
How can I argue with that?
For the record, I, myself, me, their Mother, have said this also but when The Mother talks it’s all “blah, blah, blah” but
when some one else says these things, well, that carries a whole lot more weight. They might actually hear it when someone else says it.
And what is it that makes those words so funny?
You beat me with that post by 30 seconds…my new post is up too.
I don’t know what makes those words funny myself, but I am sure we all got the giggles about that sort of thing at one time or another. Try living with two boys sometime… oh, wait, you kinda did a long time ago.
Cheers 🙂
PS, I wish that word thing down below here would use words that make sense… are you sure it uses English exclusively?

I’ll go read your post!
They think burping is incredibly funny too. I think it’s the age, not the gender.
I honestly have a hard time with the recaptcha words too. I sometimes ask for new ones until I can figure it out. 🙂

That is pretty cute! Kids remind me to lighten up in life and sometimes I miss those fits of giggles over silly stuff.

Girls find just as much humor as the boys in those things. My daughters think their uncle is amazing for intentionally burping. That is their new goal now- to burp on purpose!
And those words, I am sure I found humor in them at one time- before I grew into an adult and gained a fear of saying them in front of others! Now I also have a fear of my children yelling them out in public! What simple humor, lol.

[…] Sunday at our friends house. I was feeling drained of all energy so I shamelessly called a friend, the much respected Mrs. L, and begged her to pick up some plastic eggs at the store for me. Luckily, she was at the store at […]
